Baton Rouge, LA – Patient Plus Urgent Care is planning to open its ninth clinic at the corner of Tiger Bend and Jones Creek in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“I am excited to bring Patient Plus to the Shenandoah/Tiger Bend area, where I grew up and attended middle and high school,” said Rubin Patel, M.D. Chief Executive Officer at Patient Plus. “This neighborhood is special to me; I’ve had hopes of opening a clinic to serve this community since I started Patient Plus in 2016. Now with Patient Plus Tiger Bend, that dream becomes reality.”
Construction is expected to start on the 3,400-square-foot clinic in December 2022. This location will have six exam rooms, digital x-ray, will be equipped with occupational health services, and is expected to open in May/June 2023.
Patient Plus Urgent Care has eight clinics currently in operation in Baton Rouge, Brusly, and Prairieville. They offer a variety of services for adult and pediatric patients.
