Patient Plus Opens New Urgent Care in Bocage

Convenient location on Jefferson Highway near Lobdell

Patient Plus Urgent Care opened its newest clinic on Thursday, November 17 providing quality medical care in a convenient location for those that live and work nearby. Located at 7353 Jefferson Highway near Lobdell, the clinic is next door to City Pork and across the street from Towne Center.

“We are excited to open our second urgent care clinic in Baton Rouge. Our Mid-City clinic on Florida Boulevard filled a much-needed healthcare void in the area and we look forward to continuing to serve communities through our convenient neighborhood locations,” said Rubin Patel, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Patient Plus.

The Bocage clinic is open every day from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., including weekends and does not require an appointment. Patient Plus treats most common illnesses and injuries – the sniffles, rashes, fevers, aches, breaks and other conditions that deserve prompt treatment, but are not serious enough to require a visit to the nearest emergency room. Onsite diagnostic services, including X-Ray’s, flu and strep tests, EKG’s and physicals are available. Most major insurance is accepted and a full list can be found at http://patientplusuc.com/insurance/.

Walk into either clinic and you will experience a bright, welcoming environment, professionally staffed and fully equipped to provide modern healthcare characterized by respect, attentiveness and commitment. Each comfortable clinic measures more than 3,000 square feet with a children’s waiting room. Additional clinics are scheduled to open in the Southdowns neighborhood on the corner of Perkins and Lee and at 4343 Sherwood Forest Boulevard.  With two clinics in operation and aggressive plans for growth, Patient Plus is poised to meet the pressing need for local healthcare options.
